I am working with a e-commerce SME in the Farnworth area to recruit an experienced Financial Controller for approximately 6 months.The Financial Controller will be responsible for f the finance department and will report to the Managing Director (MD) and Interim FD.Key duties will include: Member of the Senior Management Team Responsible for financial KPI reporting Responsible for monthly management accounts Responsible for month-end and year-end close process Report to the MD with timely and accurate financial information Assist the MD in presenting reports to senior executives and stakeholders Manage cash flow Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountant and financial assistant Manage audit process Responsible for Corporation Tax submissions and other statutory returns eg VAT Responsible for Budgeting and Forecasting Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities Liaison with external stakeholders including banksThe successful candidateYou will be CIMA/ ACCA/ACA qualified, and should have at least 3 years experience in working in a high growth SME.You will have a good understanding of business & financial issues. You will have high attention to detail, advanced excel skills and ideally have used Sage 50 Accounts previouslyYou should be ideally immediately available to start work.Salary £55,000 to £60,000The company offers hybrid working with the expectation to be on site at least one day per week including Tuesdays
