Our customers love the fact that the money they spend with us pays for volunteer action in hospitals and the community.The RoleWorking alongside a friendly team and supporting the Manager, you will participate in the day-to-day running of our retail outlet in Royal Bolton Hospital. Promoting the provision of outstanding customer service, you will oversee the co-ordination of volunteers and staff. You will also provide cover for the Manager during periods of absence or leave.Additionally, you will:- Assist in the achievement of sales budget and cost control- Deliver friendly, helpful and efficient customer service- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety procedures- Help to train and develop team membersWorking HoursThis is a permanent, full-time role, working 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday.What youll needWorking in a hospital requires a special kind of customer service. Your ability to communicate with a variety of people in a friendly and cheerful way will make a real difference to someones day.
