Deputy Manager Royal Bolton Hospital, Greater Manchester Full Time, PermanentOverviewRoyal Voluntary Service cafs, shops and trolleys in hospitals, leisure centres and other locations are part of the fabric of the charity and a real asset in their own right. Our customers love the fact that the money they spend with us pays for volunteer action in hospitals and the community.The RoleWorking alongside a friendly team and supporting the Manager, you will participate in the day-to-day running of our retail outlet in Royal Bolton Hospital. Promoting the provision of outstanding customer service, you will oversee the co-ordination of volunteers and staff. You will also provide cover for the Manager during periods of absence or leave.Additionally, you will:- Assist in the achievement of sales budget and cost control- Deliver friendly, helpful and efficient customer service- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety procedures- Help to train and develop team membersWorking HoursThis is a permanent, full-time role, working 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday.What youll needWorking in a hospital requires a special kind of customer service. Your ability to communicate with a variety of people in a friendly and cheerful way will make a real difference to someones day.
