We have an exciting opportunity for a Civils Managerto join our team based at our Farnworth Depot. You will join on a full time, permanent basisand in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.As a Civils Manager, you will be expected to provide great service to our customers, we are looking for people like us; people who put our customers at the heart of everything they do.A strong communicator with a passion for helping people succeed, you will coach the sales team to help them increase sales to exceed individual and depot targets.As our Civils Manageryou will receive the following benefits: - Fantastic discounted shopping website- Generous staff discount scheme- Range of training and development programmes to help you progress your careerAs our Civils Manager, your responsibilities will include:- Ensuring your customers receive an amazing customer service- Expertly managing the sales team to help them achieve their own and the depot’s branch sales andmargin targets- Identifying new opportunities to grow the customer base- Training of the sales team ensuring their product knowledge is relevant and up to date- Coaching of the sales team ensuring that they maximise every opportunity- Ensuring all mandatory training is completed- Gaining an understanding of branch operational processes to support depot operations teams- Deputising in the absence of the General Manager when required- Any other requirements set by the General ManagerSkills and Experience required of our Civils Manager: - Experience of working in a similar environment, ideally a Civils’ Merchant- Experience of managing a team with great people skills- Excellent skills at building relationships with key customers and suppliers- Experience of working in a target driven environment- Great planning and organisational skills- Full Driver’s licenseDesirable:- Knowledge of our products- Excellent analytical skills- P&L’s responsibilityIf this is you and you want to be a member of a winning team, delivering a better future for our customers!
