Ouch. It hurts when you hit that glass ceiling.Youre ambitious and want to keep improving. But where you are theres no training, no advancement and no learning.Issues you wont face here.Theyre hiring because of growth. They have two paraplanners and need a third to support their growing team of advisers (currently 9).One of those paraplanners is extremely experienced and theyll get you established. A trainer meets a mentor if you like. And because of this support the firm arent worried about the breadth of your current technical knowledge.Theyll nurture you, pay for your exams and help you become the quality of paraplanner you know you can be.But it doesnt need to end there. Its a medium term horizon, but the firm are supportive of individuals who want to become planners. Theyve acquired a couple of small IFAs recently and with more on the way theyll be plenty of opportunities for you.Theres hybrid working (3 days in the office) and a solid starting salary of up to £40,000. On top of that theres a discretionary bonus (10% in the past few years) plus a benefits package. As for culture the top characteristic that the firm likes Independent thinking. This isnt a business where its "my way or the highway". They encourage people to strategise, think of new ideas and challenge the way things are done. This business isnt standingstill in any shape or form.WHAT YOULL NEED TO HAVE:Youll have at least 18-24 months of paraplanning experience. They want someone who can write reports to a reasonable level. But you dont need to come from an IFA background and you dont need to be an expert in all areas of financial planning. Youre joining a firm thats all about training and development - an expert you will become.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Click apply or if you dont have an up to date CV send us a way of contacting you.
