Technical Document Writer – Competitive Salary – Farnham, SurreyThe RoleAre you a gifted technical writer A world-class engineering team at the leading global supplier of passive and active tags is seeking a Technical Document Writer to take responsibility for producing and managing product literature.The ideal candidate will become an expert in the company’s products.The key responsibilities of a Technical Document Writer include, but are not limited to:

  • Producing technical user manuals for IOT devices and software.
  • Generating marketing literature and content of technical bids.
  • Maintaining product literature including product datasheets and guides to manufacturing specifications.
    • The CompanyThe company is a market leader in RFID on metal tags for use in environments where classic dipoles fail to perform.Key to the company’s success is its extensive range of bespoke products that fulfil needs across a wide range of markets, encompassing the customer base that includes high-profile global companies such as: Facebook, NASA, Boeing, Ford and Honda. Currently, the company is expanding its product offering to include range of new Active products using BLE and LoRa technologies.The PersonThe key skills and qualities of a Technical Document Writer:
  • Proven experience in technical writing, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and deliver high-quality documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must.
  • A background in Electronic Engineering, practical technology aptitude, and an understanding of IOT devices (RFID, BLE, LoRa, Sigfox, ETC).
  • The ability to multi-task efficiently while facing various deadlines, and independent manage documentation projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
