Job Description

Robert Half are working exclusively with one of our best clients to find a new Senior Management Accountant. This is a vital part of the finance function where you will be taking full ownership for the UK finance function as you support the business withtheir exciting growth plans. If you are a qualified and experienced finance professional, who is searching for a new role where you are able to utilise your skill-set whilst being part of an exciting and growing business, then be sure to apply as soon as possibleas this opportunity wont be around for long!The RoleIn this Senior Management Accountant role you will be responsible for (But not limited to):

  • Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
  • Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making
  • Produce month end and year end journals
  • Prepare statutory and management accounts
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
  • Manage capital expenditure
  • Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
  • Lead, manage, guide and motivate a small accountancy department
  • Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
  • Accountability for cash flow and production of forecasts
  • Review company assets and liabilities
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations for all accounts
  • Assessment of monthly expenses
  • Calculation, presentation and payment of VAT

This role will be based at the companies head officeswhich are based near the Farnham area.The CandidateThe ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced and proven finance professional who is now looking to step into a position where they are able to effectively utilise their skill-set and add value to this business.
