Our client based near Farnham, Surrey currently operate popular street food mobile outlets which operate in the region and have now opened an exciting new eatery concept - an indoor street food market.They offer an authentic street food dining experience and use only the best local produce and authentic recipes learnt cooking and travelling in Mexico. They create a fresh take on traditional Mexican tacos. They make classic tacos, like pulled pork and vegan butternut squash, and new dishes like masa fried chicken torta with chipotle mayonnaise and citrus slaw.They are currently looking for a Kitchen Manager to head up this exciting new operation. All food will be freshly prepared on site using quality produce from local suppliers. With the theme of Tex Mex you will cook fresh, flavour packed dishes.As the Kitchen Manager you will need to have:-Previous experience as a chef and managing a small kitchen-A positive attitude and be energetic - A willingness to learn a new cuisine if needed-Be a confident leader. This role would suit a Sous Chef looking to take a step up on their career journey or some who is already a Kitchen Manager / Head Chef looking for a new and exciting opportunity.
