NHS Greater Manchester Shared Services (GMSS) *Please note that this vacancy is for Greater Manchester Shared Services and NOT Salford Royal Foundation Trust*The GMSS IT service is recruiting for an IT Release Lead who will be accountable for the release process, scheduling, coordination, and management of deployments for all applications across various portfolios. Releases can be inclusive of software / application deployments, Operating System / software patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, and project deliveries.GMSS support multiple customers across 400+ sites totalling over 14,000 devices, the post will be responsible for the device management of these as well as leading the team of 5 who manage builds, SCCM, application packaging, patching etc.The post holder will be responsible for managing the lifecycle processes of end user devices, including the technical specification and image builds, to meet user and system provider requirements.
