Job Description

My client is a leading Global provider of high quality food, and due to expansion they are seeking an experienced Supply Chain and Planning Administrator on a full time, permanent basis. Your role would be to support the Supply Chain, Logistics, and Planningteams with administrative support and assistance.On a day-to-day basis, your tasks will include;

  • Scheduling of deliveries
  • Reporting & trending of key data
  • Supplier liaison including performance management and continuous improvements
  • Liaison with producers, hauliers, marketing groups etc.
  • Record management, logs, and general administration
  • Maintenance of bespoke database and setting up new producers on the system
  • Updating and managing documentation and records, ensuring compliance
  • Logging and reporting of KPIs
  • Minute taking for various meetings
  • Maintaining Sharepoint database
  • Joining the out of hours emergency contact rota where one week in three, you will be expected to be the point of contact for all delivery-related issues outside of normal office hours (07:30-17:00)
The ideal candidate for this opportunity will possess the following skills and knowledge;• Confident communicator, able to deal with multiple channels of communication• Confident and experienced user of Microsoft Excel• Highly organized and able to work on multiples task simultaneously• Confident telephone manner• Able to work autonomously and flexibly• Good interpersonal skills• Excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure.• Experience of the livestock/haulage industry would be advantageous but not essential.This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday 08:30am-17:00pm. The position is based onsite in a remote location in Mid-Suffolk so it is essential that you have your own transport.
