Whether you have been a Support Worker or a Care Worker, you will utilise your experience to support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life.As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, youll support the physical health team and the registered Dietician in delivering care plans and referrals. This will see you work closely with the catering department ensuring that service user’s dietary requirements areassessed on admission, checking for allergies and intolerances and communicating this with the catering department.It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. This is to accommodate the needs of our service users in the most efficient manner.Where you will be workingLocation: Pinhoe View, College Way, Exeter, EX1 3PZPinhoe View is a new purpose-built facility where a range of mental health services are provided for adults with acute mental health conditions across two wards and eight individual flats.The 24-hour acute inpatient service is supported by a full multidisciplinary team, which specialises in the assessment, treatment and stabilisation of people suffering from a significant mental health episode and in crisis.
