Job Description

Senior EcologistExeter £35,000-£45,000I am pleased to announce that we are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join a brilliant team in Exeter!They work with a range of clients on diverse projects across the UK. They are a leading team who provide support to their staff and their professional development.Benefits include;

They are a multi-disciplinary consultancy, where you would get the opportunity to work with a mix of skilled consultants in landscape, urban design and heritage. This will support you in developing a broader understanding of developments as well as ecologyand biodiversity.Responsibilities include;
  • Supporting junior members of staff as well as lead ecologist in project delivery.
  • Leading protected species surveys and overseeing PEAs, EcIAs, HRAs and BNG assessments.
  • Using QGIS to prepare technical drawings.
Requirements;
  • Experience with protected species surveys (survey licences beneficial).
  • Strong knowledge of wildlife legislation.
  • Full UK driving licence.
