Job Description

Model MakerThe Company:Are you artistic with an ability to make models, build creative imagery, and inspire others through your creations Liaising with multiple departments you will be responsible for ideation, creation and prototyping of effects and managing these through to sourcing and production within this British manufacturing company.A creative role to assist the technical development team with artistic and visual effects.This role will span multiple mediums including, physical model making, animation, film, and artistry. Ideal for someone with some art qualifications or experience especially in model making wishing to grow their scope and skillset. Job Responsibilities:

  • Build prototypes, models, and samples for presenting to the board or for production replication.
  • Propose and develop visual effects for inclusion in the companys wide range of aesthetically pleasing electric appliances.
  • Create traditional, realistic, contemporary, and abstract solutions for all aspects of the product.
  • Work with development, production, and sourcing teams to bring the products to mass production and market.
  • Ensure solutions are cost effective, environmentally sound, safe for use within the application and adhere to any relevant legislation.
  • Ability to communicateproject status and any issues to relevant parties.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience or relevant qualifications relating to art or design.
  • Display creativity and ability to solve problems.
  • Able to produce prototypes and physical models.
  • Ability to multitask on projects and prioritise workload accordingly.
