Job Description

Are you a proactive and organised individual with experience managing operations within a professional services environment Do you have experience carrying out marketing responsibilitiesOur client, an integrated professional services firm, is looking for a General Manager to join their team and provide support across Operations, HR, and Marketing.Your responsibilities:

  • Fielding day-to-day operational matters within the business
  • Supporting the Board, including preparations for Board meetings
  • Acting as the point of contact in Exeter for Newquay, Liskeard, and Scotland
  • Point of contact for all internal HR issues, liaising with external HR specialists for resolutions
  • Day-to-day marketing responsibilities
  • Developing and executing the marketing plan, including managing the marketing budget
  • Liaising with stakeholders across the business with operational, HR, and marketing matters
  • Owner of the brand consistency across the business, including tone of voice and visual identity
  • Planning and coordination of events
Your skills and experience:
  • Proven experience in a management role, and some experience carrying out marketing activity
  • Able to successfully prioritise tasks and deal with conflicting demands effectively
  • A logical thinker and methodical planner, able to forward think and plan for different outcomes
  • Experience in delivering projects on time and to a tight budget
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, able to present confidently and negotiate where necessary
