Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of an special school for a forestry teacher.The school is new and based outdoors in a forest setting for learners with SEMH and ASD needs. The school deem developing students with life skills, not just their academic ability.The school supports KS2 and KS3 learners (ages 7-14). Their objective is to deliver a space for learners to build natural skillsets and a mindset that previously been unable to do.We are looking to recruit an outdoor eduction teacher / forestry teacher. The ideal candidate with be either experienced or qualified in forestry schoolwork. This is not essential but advisable. If you have a key interest in the outdoors and looking to supportchildren, then this could be an ideal role for you. The main objective is to support in developing the forest school and SEMH aspects of the curriculum to help pupils upskill and support.This is an outdoor learning facility where the weather and the site environments are as much of a task as other areas of the role.The lessons are based around outdoor pursuits, teambuilding and problem-solving tasks that will expand into qualifications as learners progress through the school.Please apply today if you feel like this is a role you would be interested in.
