Job Description

Would you like to work in a professional, friendly and organised company as a Temporary Finance Director. This company have high quality customer care at their heart whilst providing a variety of commercial support for all sizes of businesses. The teamprides itself on offering clients a bespoke service, tailored to the unique needs of each and every client.The team are requiring someone fully qualified, with astrong financial backgroundwho is capable of overseeing not only the financial functions of the business but that can also support with Business Management and HR related processes for a period of time (up to 3 months).The successful candidate will need to be able to support with the completionand/or oversee all aspects of the day to day financial processes as well as wider Business related responsibilities such as:Finance:

  • purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, ledger postings and payroll (outsourced)
  • VAT/CIS returns
  • BACS payment runs, petty cash & bank postings
  • month end routines, compliance, PL statements and reconciliations
  • Stock controls
  • FCA and other declarations and returns
Business:
  • Produce and manage business plans and management accounts
  • Oversee tendering and procurement
  • Liaison with company accountant and begin to take the processes in house.
  • HR requirements for the company
  • Fleet management and supply chain management
  • Manage P11D’s
  • General office management including line management of other direct reports to the MD
  • Oversee the company H&S
  • Ad hoc duties as required by the MD
