Due to their continued success, we are seeking dedicated and proactive individuals to join the specialistChildrens team as Family Paralegals.The Role:As a Family Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting the partners and solicitors in the renowned Childrens team, ensuring the delivery of top-rated services to their clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Attending client meetings and court hearings, both in person and remotely.
  • Preparing court documents and letters.
  • Assisting in the management of client files.
  • Undertaking case research.
  • Assisting with the costing of legal aid files and liaising with the Legal Aid Agency and cost draftsmen.
  • Exploring flexible working options, including part-time and job share opportunities.
About You:The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
  • Organised, accurate, proactive, and committed to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent telephone, interpersonal, and communication skills with a focus on exceptional client care.
  • Flexible approach and ability to work within a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and enhance your learning experience.
  • Self-motivated with the drive and ambition to support the growth of the Family Childrens team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; eager to learn other software packages specific to legal services.
  • Ideally, experience in legal aid costing, including familiarity with the Legal Aid Agencys CCMS system.
