Job Description

This is a fabulous opportunity for a creative and commercially focused Designer/Artworker to join the design team for one of Exeters most well recognised and successful businesses.The role of Designer/Artworker is to support the different design departments within the studio, contributing to the development of press ready designs across the product range, including the art-working and design of different ranges, catalogues and POS.The role:

  • Working closely with the Charity Director, Studio Manager and Design Manager the Designer/Artworker will create presentation work, including grids and customer presentations, ready to be signed off.
  • Artworking ranges once final designs have been signed off.
  • Coordinating different projects and prioritising deadlines.
  • Creating and designing catalogues, flyers and POS boards for print and ad-hoc web banners and marketing emails, liaising with the relevant departments to collate information.
  • Sourcing images and managing licensing requirements as well as using the image portfolio system.
  • Conducting market and deign trend research.
Skills and experience required:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent within a design based subject, or relevant experience.
  • Experience of working in a creative environment and a design based role.
  • Extensive experience using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, adobe programming.
  • Experience working across multiple projects, communicating with colleagues and senior Managers.
