Job Description

App Developer The Company:Would you like to work in Devon as a creative, innovative, yet technically savvy Mobile App Developer Whilst this role could be a hybrid one, you will be needed to work as part of a Research and Development team. The successful applicant will have the abilityto develop applications from definition, through story boarding and user flow to final coding and implementation. You will display good design practices and an artistic flair to produce intuitive applications that solve specific problems to a given specification.Lifetime management and updates for both business requirements and technology infrastructure needs will also be essential. This role is ideal for anyone wishing to fully develop and maintain a suite of apps with a company identity spanning many differentend users. Job Responsibilities:

  • You will be developing multi-platform applications for iOS and Android with platforms such as REACT Native or Xamerin and the role will require Wi-Fi and Bluetooth integration. The Apps maybe of a technical / engineering nature, but it is equally importantthat they are creative and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Work extensively with Marketing on the implementation of company brand identity, image, and desired perception across multiple ranges and under different company brands.
  • Develop user interface and experience strategy for all future company apps.
  • Understand user and business requirements to form framework and long-term strategy for development, evolution and management of company apps.
  • Develop and test internal apps to ensure product brief and goals have been met and app is stable and secure before release.
  • Interpret feedback and roll into development strategy.
  • Maintain content and generational updates on live apps.
  • Suggest new ideas to further enhance the business and user experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience of developing multi-platform applications for iOS and Android with platforms such as REACT Native or Xamerin, combined with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth integration.
  • Experience with integration to smart platforms such as Google Home or Alexa would be ideal.
  • Be an experienced app developer in the field of Professional/Business based applications for both iOS and Android.
  • Have successfully brought an app to market and managed updates throughout its life.
  • Show artistic acumen to produce attractive and intuitive results.
  • Be Microsoft Office competent.
  • Ability to plan out and propose UI-UX strategy and develop brand identity.
  • Ability to control lifetime management, security updates, business updates and generational changes.
