Brookstreet are recruiting for an Admin Executive Officer position for a government Client, at the Insolvency office until 02/01/25 £12.62 per hourThis is a Hybrid-based role in Exeter, full training will be givenFull time Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week 9-5 flexible hours can be arrangedPurpose of the role:Our initial case assessment team (ICAT) investigators are responsible for carrying out an assessment of each new case that the RPS receives, aiming to identify and combat any potentially fraudulent activity. Working as part of a small team in a fast-paced operational delivery environment you will have challenging targets, so you will need resilience and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities. If you have an eye for detail and an inquisitive mind, thiscould be the opportunity for you. Responsibilities will include: " Carrying out a due diligence assessment on RPS cases " Gathering, reviewing and challenging evidence from internal and open sources to make robust recommendations " Taking part in team triage sessions " Communicating with both internal and external stakeholders " Application of legislation and relevant case law to decision making " Assessment of financial assistance applications, producing a written report recommending either payment or rejection of the application" Reviewing and identifying advance notice of redundancies to identify any meeting the criteria for criminal referral and liaising with IES to produce and submit the referral for further investigationRequired knowledge, skills andbehaviours: " An investigative background as evidenced by your experience " Able to demonstrate curiosity, problem solving, research skills, evidence collecting, critical thinking, analysing information, report writing, risk analysis and public interest criteria " Strong written and verbal communication skills " Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines" A logic-based approach to decision making with strong analytical skills and ability to question data and evidence to support decisions Full Job description can be givenThe role is subject to 3 years referencing and a basic DBS
