The spiral staircases and original features make for an ever-inspiring atmosphere with a strong spring and summer business appealing to tourists, familiesand school groups.Ten miles away in Burwash nestles Batemans, the former home of Rudyard Kipling. This 17th century house remains much the same as the world-famous writer left it. Batemans has a real family feel, with a team who will give you a warm welcome. The garden andlandscape at Batemans provided the inspiration for Rudyards medical tales in Puck of Pooks Hill and Rewards and Fairies.Nestled in a peaceful corner of East Sussex with beautiful surrounding, this is a great place to live and work. What youll be doing As a Visitor Experience Officer, youll be responsible for the delivery of a lively and engaging programming and helping to deliver events at Bodiam Castle during the school summer holiday. Working alongside the Senior Visitor Experience Officer and VisitorExperience Manager, youll develop engaging and meaningful interpretation that can move, teach and inspire our visitors.Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. Working with our spirit of place, youll work with the visitor welcome team to link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do.
