Job Description

About usPrincess Alice Hospice is one of the top ten adult hospices in the UK, providing specialist palliative care and support to a community of more than a million people living in Surrey, southwest London, and Middlesex.Our aim is to have an even greater impact, supporting more people affected by life-limiting illnesses. To achieve this, we need to grow our income and thats where you come in. It costs over £10m each year to provide our free, high-quality care and as acharity, 78% of our income is generated by fundraising, our 44 retail shops, donations, and legacies.Our Income Generation TeamDonations, response rates, tracking, metricswe income generation folks love to prove the difference we make. Were small enough to be a close-knit team where you can see the difference your campaigns make to the care we give every day; but big enoughand ambitious enough for you to grow and explore new fundraising, tools, and techniques.Your roleYou will be flexible and results-driven, with experience of working within an individual giving/direct marketing team either in the charity or commercial sector. In addition to traditional direct marketing methods, digital methods of engaging with and fundraisingfrom our supporters will be something that interests and excites you along with a mindset that likes to test and learn new approaches to delivering our individual giving targets. You will be used to developing effective relationships and working collaborativelywith colleagues from other disciplines as well as managing relationships with external suppliers. All with a professional, experienced income generation team to learn from and learn with.Some of our employee benefits include:
