Job Description

Human Resources DirectorAbout Our Client:Our Client, is one of the UKs leading consultancies within their industry, with a remarkable track record of providing comprehensive services in ESG amongst others . Their commitment to sustainable practices has made them a key player in supporting numerousblue-chip clients across diverse sectors and has won several awards in this area recently. As they scale up they are now looking for their first HR Director to play a pivotal role in shaping the human resources strategies and therefore is an exciting opportunityto own and develop this position. Areas of responsibility:

  • Organisational development - providing strategic advice to SLT to optimise resource allocation and organisational structure
  • Managing Recruitment - overseeing the recruitment process, managing agencies, screening first stage interviews and managing onboarding process and inductions
  • Staff development and appraisals -advising and training line managers on setting objectives and development plans for their teams and for annual performance review process
  • Maintain and keep up to date HR handbook and policies
  • Manage Learning and development requests and opportunities
  • Manage employee engagement and processes
Skills and Experiences required:
  • CIPD qualified
  • Track record of providing HR leadership and services into a 50 to 100 employee companies but growth companies
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Experience of employee recruitment
  • Knowledge of agencies, online tools and advertising means of recruitment
  • Experience of overseeing staff development programmes
  • Experience of senior level stakeholder management
  • Consultancy/professional services industry experience
