Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Horticultural Service Technician to join a leading agriculture product and services company. The purpose of this role with be the repair and maintenance of various horticultural machinery sold though the company, all whilst maintain the highest level of customer service.This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician to join a long-established brand who truly value their team and the work each member puts in.Your duties will include:

  • Repairing and maintaining various horticultural equipment sold through the company.
  • Diagnosing faults and planning repairs.
  • Providing outstanding customer service at all times.
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding the repair work being carried out.
    • You will have/be:
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of garden machinery or small agricultural machinery.
  • Good knowledge of domestic and professional grass machinery.
  • Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals.
  • The ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • The ability to manage and prioritise workload.
  • Self-Motivated with a "Can Do" attitude.
  • A keen team player, with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Dedicated professional attitude and conduct, with clear & effective communication
  • Full clean driver’s license.
    • This is a full-time, permanent role working 39 hours per week, 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-4pm on Fridays with 1 hour unpaid lunch.
