Job Description

You’ll learn to champion best practice when it comes to business support, and will always be looking at how you can offer help where needed.Please note that the salary advertised is inclusive of an additional Outer London Weighting allowance of £2,690 per annum pro rata.’ What its like to work here Steeped in history the properties within Surrey Landscapes are truly iconic, ranging from the pleasure grounds of a former royal palace where Princess’s once played at Claremont, to Runnymede and its 6000 year history, but perhaps most famous as the site for the sealing of Magna Carta to the National Trusts only Arboretum at Winkworth a truly beautiful oasis from this busy commuter belt. The role is based mainly in the property office at Claremont. What youll be doing We are looking to recruit an Assistant Business Support Co-Ordinator whose main role will be to oversee the smooth running of the busy property office at Claremont. Being the first point of contact, you’ll be supporting the property team to deliver great customer service, making every interaction with our visitors a great experience.This role is based at Claremont Landscape Garden in Esher, working as an integral part of the business support team in the Surrey Landscape properties. There may be a need on an occasional basis to support the wider business support team at Winkworth Arboretum and Runnymede during busy periods and therefore a current full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.The successful applicant will be offered a permanent contract of 780 hours a year, working an average 15 hours over 3 days a week on a flexible basis and days by arrangement.Please also read the full role profile attached to this advert.   • Demonstrate experience managing resources and people using a busy property office
  • Ability to prioritise, and work on own initiative to manage workload whilst meeting the demands on a day to day basis of a visitor business.
  • Good Experience of using Microsoft office, including Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Good written & verbal communication skills, dealing with enquiries in person, on the phone and by email in a busy customer focused environment
  • Experience of working with volunteers, and supporting them with the various processes they need to volunteer with us
  • Previous experience with budgeting system and good financial management
