Job Description

Our client a provider of construction products has an urgent requirement for a Permanent Book Keeper to join their team.Reporting to senior staff you will be responsible for:

  • Entering Data into accounting Software
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date financial records
  • Preparing year end financial statements
  • Completing VAT and CIS returns
  • Posting prepayments and accruals
  • Developing monthly financial statements, including financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss balance sheets
  • Reconciling various accounts
  • Various Admin duties
  • Assisting with Sales and Purchase ledgers
  • Reporting to accounts manager and working for the group.
To be considered for this role you will need experience of:
  • Knowledge of sage
  • Previous experience
  • Reliable, professional and accurate
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in VAT and CIS returns essential.
The hours are 8.30am to 5pmDue to the location of this role you will need to be able to drive and have your own transport.This client is an equal opportunities business.
