Information is a strategic asset, as a result we need to ensure legal compliance when it comes to sharing the information we hold; supplying the right information, inthe right format, to those authorised to have access to it.Our work is underpinned by Data Protection Legislation, Human Rights Law and an understanding of how the law needs to be applied. As part of our team, you will use your extensive knowledge and experience of this to ensure that personal data is processedin line with relevant legal frameworks. This will include carrying out Data Protection Impact Assessments to identify and mitigate any potential privacy risks.Using your analytical skills and adopting a pro-active approach, you will identify any changes in legislation and case law and how these changes impact the force. A great communicator, you will use your excellent interpersonal skills to deliver expert advice,keeping everyone across the force compliant and well informed.Its an exciting role that touches every part of the Force.
