Job Description

If you have good experience working within a team, are computer literate, and have great attention to detail, we want to hear from you!We are recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our Beverages department at our Elton site in Cheshire!Main Responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with all relevant health & safety procedures and regulations
  • Understand Safe Systems of work
  • To comply with all Food Safety Legislation communicated through the Hygiene Policy, the Quality System and Briefings
  • Ensure all relevant process documentation and records are completed and signed off for data recording key metrics as set out by the management team
  • Ensure traffic into and out of the Process yard is controlled, secured and have appropriate and accurate document sign off
  • Ensure effective communication of shift handovers
  • Understand and comply with all HMRC procedures
  • Attend training courses and meetings as required.
  • Understand the need for operators to do jobs other than process operations, as specified by your manager.

You will also be required to have the following business knowledge:
  • Previous experience in brewery, soft drinks manufacturing or production/manufacturing environment
  • Tanker offload experience
  • PC Literate - MS Word and Excel
  • Heavy lifting experience
  • Hygiene and quality workplace experience
  • FLT & Shunter driving is part of this role, therefore a drivers license in either discipline would be advantageous, training will be provided on the job
