Job Description

Summary An exciting opportunity has become available to work at one of the most globally innovative and sustainable businesses - ENCIRC in Elton, Chester.On behalf of ENCIRC, Adecco are recruiting for a Facilities Operative to join the ever-growing, highly successful manufacturing plant in Elton, Chester. Work Pattern: Total Hours: 39.5 hours, Mon-Thurs 08.00-17.00, Fri 08.00-15.15 Main Responsibilities
  • First line response to reactive repairs on building furniture.
  • Minor building fabric repairs
  • Minor decorating tasks
  • Basic plumbing repairs
  • Toilet facilities and replenishment of consumables
  • Gardening, mowing and strimming.
  • ADHOC porterage duties (Moves & changes, furniture management & moves, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all assigned inspections
  • Comply fully with Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
Ideal Candidate Essential skills
  • Must hold a full UK drivers license
  • Ability to record work accurately on work sheets
  • Basic Joinery and building skills.
  • Responsible for self and others to maintain a safe working environment as per the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974) and subsequent UK and EU amendments
Desirable skills
  • FLT operator
  • MEWP trained and in date
  • JCB operator
  • Have a proactive approach to maintenance and building management
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a building environment
