Reed HR are working alongside a large Educational Establishment based in South East London who are recruiting for a HR Operations Officer on a fixed term contract for 6 months.This role is hybrid so travel into the office 2/3 days a week will be required.Job Summary The first point of contact for a range of HR Operations related matters To act as a first point of contact for providing guidance on HR Operations to line managers and the general Establishments population To work as part of a Centre of Excellence ensuring that HR Operations information provided is in accordance with the Organisationspolicies and procedure as well as best practiceKey ResponsibilitiesTeam Specific:Each member of the HR Operations Team will take the lead on an agreed client group but will work flexibly to support activities in any of the other groups as well as providing support to cover period of absence or high demand/activities. To act as a first point of contact for providing guidance on HR Operations to line managers and the general Establishmentspopulation To advise staff on matters related to their Terms and Conditions of employment both in writing and verbally To be the first point of contact for queries related to the process application for all types of leave (maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave, unpaid and sabbatical leave) To administer the Probationary Review administration process and liaise with the relevant HR Business Partner, as appropriate To provide support to the HRBP and ERC by servicing meetings; including casework meetings To analyse sickness trigger reports and coordinate appropriate action To administer processes in relation to employees leaving the Organisationincluding sending acknowledgement of resignation, liaising with Employee Relations Consultants when there is a request for an Exit Interview. To provide information and guidance to staff on routine employment matters To work collaboratively with colleagues within the Recruitment Team as well as the wider HR colleagues To maintain electronic (HR database) and paper (personal filing) records up-dated timely and accurately.Managing Self Maintain a proactive approach to ensuring the organisationscurrent and future needs are reflected in HR strategic plans Ensure on-going knowledge of employment law, internal policies and processes changes to maintain quality of advice Maintain and develop expertise, professional networks and contacts and as appropriate, cascade and share information and knowledge with colleagues Continuously improve own knowledge of people management processes and strategy, benchmarking and knowledge management Maintain own continuous professional development (CPD)**FULL JD AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST**
