Job Description

NEW YEAR, NEW JOBWe are currently recruiting a Fleet Administrator for our Huntingdon based client. This is a fantastic opportunity to join their fast paced team on a full time permanent basis and would be ideal for somebody who is looking for the nextstep in their career.Job Purpose:Administer and maintain all relevant processes within the workshop and fleet departments in line with statutory and business requirements. Ensure that fleet records are maintained in a professional manner at all times.Duties and Responsibilities included but not exhausted to:

  • Ensure all Vehicles and trailers are serviced & MOTs completed on time: vehicles taxed
  • Liaise with rental companies regarding servicing, maintenance and arrange repair work as required.
  • Ensure fleet records are compliant with DVSA guidelines and best practice and fleet system (Blue Crystal) is kept up to date
  • Ensure that all repairs are recorded and conducted in full and on time and job cards closed and records updated accordingly, raising purchase orders as required for parts orders
  • Provide timely information on vehicle and trailer use and history as required by the business in the event of accidents, incidents, traceability and BRCGS compliance.
  • Produce daily Vehicle Off Road (VOR) lists and distribute accordingly, ensuring that they are always kept up to date.
  • Participate in daily operational conference calls and provide update on fleet status.
  • Arrange call outs for breakdowns as required.
  • Ensure fleet (including rental) are insured, issued Dart tag, and added to all systems (GTS, Blue Crystal, Merridale etc) and removed when no longer required.
  • Track supplier and fleet performance as required
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels within the parts store on Blue Crystal.
