Acorn are recruiting for site operatives on a temp to perm basis for their client based in Ellesmere PortThe company offers permanent contracts and genuine opportunities for progression along with full training, company events and other company benefitsThe main duties required:* Work in a safe manner and report any issues that may compromise safety* Complete regular clean ups throughout the shift* Operate and monitor heavy machinery to achieve daily production targets* Carry out basic maintenance of the machinery* Carry out daily defect reporting of all Machinery as required* Carry out tasks as directed by the Shift SupervisorEssential requirements:* Production environment or other labour intensive experience* Ability to work outside* Good level of fitness* Positive can do attitude* Team player* Excellent communication skillsDesirable requirements:* Recycling or waste management experience* Heavy machinery experience* Basic maintenance knowledge* FLT or Telehandler experienceHours of work:* 4 on 4 off shift pattern* 12 hour days and nightsRate of pay:* £11.00 per hour* £12.00 per hour upon completion of all trainingBenefits of working for Acorn at this particular client:* Weekly Pay* Accrued Holidays* Pension* Dedicated Account Manager* On site FLT and Telehandler trainingThere are immediate starts on site so please apply below!Acorn Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
