Job Description

Over the last few years,we have been busy building our Great Things Together group through growth and acquisitions, meaning the DJH Mitten Clarke group has grown from strength to strength!We are now on the hunt for a Semi Senior Accountant to join our fantastic Chester team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within an established firm and build on their skills through working with a diverse client base.What your day to day will look like as a Semi Senior Accountant

  • Preparing year-end financial statements for a wide range of clients
  • Preparing both personal and corporation tax returns. Calculating corporation and personal tax liabilities
  • Supporting Seniors and Client Service Managers with duties beneficial for the wider business
  • Preparing management accounts to help clients reach business decisions, either at our offices or on site at clients premises
  • Training and supporting clients on Xero
  • Supporting more junior members of the team with queries
  • Creating and developing tax planning ideas
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Raising relevant and coherent queries to assist with Senior and Management review
Skills and experience you will be…
  • ACA/ACCA part-qualified or studier
  • Passionate about offering a high-quality service
  • Friendly, and able to communicate clearly with both colleagues and clients
