Job Description

Are you a Team player who likes variety to their day meeting new people If so, we would like to hear from you.This role offers on-site retail discounts, full training and uniform provided, regular breaks and the chance to gain a CCTV Licence.Guaranteeing 42 hours per week on a permanent contract.Here at Securitas we guard and protect a variety of clients across the globe, these range from banks, retail chains, and leisure venues through to corporate offices. Our employees play an integral role in making people feel safe.Securitas is encouraging and empowering diversity & inclusion in the workplace and has been recognised with both UK SuperBrand and UK Top Employer awards for 2022This role would suit someone who enjoys interacting with people, who can demonstrate their ability to be flexible to attend to any needs and share Securitas values.Predominately you will be working at one of our clients sites, with the expectation to attend others as and when required, expenses paid.Working between 06:30 - 18:30 & 18:30 - 06:30 with regular breaksOpportunities for overtimeHow you will make an impact as a Securitas Security Officer:

  • Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
  • Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV.
  • Patrolling.
  • Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring the safeguarding of the premises.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Display an outstanding level of customer service.
  • Bi-weekly fire & In evacuations
  • Weekly search training
  • Gatehouse duties
  • Undertake any other duties as requested by Management.
Essential Skills
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Five-yearcheckable employment history
  • SIA Licence or willing to attain with our support
  • Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
