Job Description

Job Role: Rough Terrain Forklift OperatorShifts: 12 hour shifts - Days / NightsSalary: £14ph - £15ph - Overtime availableDuration: 2 Weeks workAre you a skilled Rough Terrain Forklift Operator ready to elevate your career Were collaborating with a client in Ellesmere Port, and theyre on the lookout for proficient forklift drivers to join their team.Role Overview:As a Rough Terrain Forklift Operator, youll play a vital role in the efficient and safe movement of materials on-site. Your responsibilities will include safely operating forklifts to handle materials, load and unload trucks, conduct routine equipment checks,and uphold the highest safety standards. If you have the skills, certifications, and experience required, we want you on board.Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Forklift Expertise: Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
  • Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using forklifts.
  • Guardian of Safety: Perform routine checks of the forklifts and promptly report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Material Mobility: Ensure the smooth and safe movement of materials around the site.
  • Safety First: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
Requirements:
  • Safety Passport: Possess a valid CCNSG Site Safety Passport or CSCS Card
  • Certified Operator: Hold a valid Rough Terrain Forklift Operator certification or licence.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrate your experience and proficiency in operating forklifts on-site.
  • Safety Savvy: Strong knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for operating forklifts.
  • Physical Resilience: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform in a physically demanding environment.
