Job Description

Dawson Levy Resourcing are proud to be recruiting for a Mechanical Service Engineer for a client of ours who are based in Cheshire and operate across the North West.Due to expansion, a leading engineering company that prides itself in providing the highest standards of customer services to users, installers, and suppliers of all pumps types - including submersible, AHUs, motors, and other types of rotating machinery throughout the UK is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Service Engineer to join its growing company. The successful Mechanical Service Engineer will work full time, earning a competitive salary dependant on experience.The successful Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Responding promptly and courteously to customer
  • Minimising interruption to customers
  • Representing the company within the field, acting accordingly to the high standards
  • Service and/or repair of pumps and rotating
  • Feedback of materials required for works to be completed to the Head
    • The successful engineer will have demonstrable experience in a similar engineering role and a genuine interest in engineering, specifically pumps or rotating equipment is highly desirable. In addition, you will possess the following skills and experience:
  • Excellent written and spoken communication
  • Excellent organisational and timekeeping
  • Ability to use own
  • Commercially aware and customer
  • Experience in all areas of pumps including submersible, centrifugal, end suction pumps, HVAC equipment and general-purpose pumps.
  • Engineering background (essential)
  • Full, clean valid driving
  • Basic Electrical Skills & fault finding
