Job Description

Infrastructure Engineer - (3rd Line, Infrastructure, Engineer, Azure, O365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Cloud, PowerShell) - Permanent - Ellesmere Port/HybridCharles Simon Associates are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis for a very prestigious client based in Ellesmere Port. This organisation prides itself on being able to provide a great working environment where career progressionand training is the cornerstone of their ethos.Location: Ellesmere Port/HybridSalary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annumSkills/Requirements for the Infrastructure Engineer:

  • Experience in a similar role previously
  • Strong Azure experience
  • Ideally some migration work
  • Extensive Active Directory
  • Experience of Windows Server
  • Disaster recovery experience
  • Experience of O365
  • Previous experience of running projects both in a team and individually
  • PowerShell scripting is highly desirable
Start date is ASAP for the Infrastructure EngineerThe Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for:
  • Reviewing current projects and their associated milestones and prioritise
  • Maintaining and Improving existing infrastructure by consistent checks and reviews
  • Supporting IT Service Desk to resolve escalated calls or provide training and support
  • Maintaining the Microsoft Server Estate
  • Providing support to ongoing migration work
  • Platform design, implementation and optimization projects
  • Developing strong internal relationships with other teams
  • Producing network documentation
  • Project planning and delivery.
