Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality AdvisorConstruction Ellesmere PortPermanent£Negotiable SalaryThis established main contractor is looking for a HSEQ Advisor, to work on petrochemical site, in Ellesmere Port.Reporting to the HSE ManagerRole It is the duty of the Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Advisor to advise site management on all HSEQ matters and to keep the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager as well as the Compliance Manager fully apprised of the QEHS performance of the constructionsites in relation to achievement of the HSQE Policy objectives and Management System Targets and Objectives. Ensure the correct implementation of all HSEQ legislation in line with company operational activities.Maintain and update Management Systems and to carry out internal/External Audits on both our company and suppliers. Ensures the companies policies and procedures are in line with regulatory and ethical standards. Conduct internal and external audits and make manageable recommendations to ensure ongoing compliance with legislation and standards.Own the QE Section of the companies HSQE Improvement/Strategy document and ensure continuous improvementRequirementPrevious experience of holding a HSEQ Advisor position with a construction companyIdeally experience of working in petrochemical sitesExcellent communication skillsGood knowledge of ISO, HSE Legislation and British Standards. Thorough knowledge of Environmental, Quality and Health and Safety Management Systems.Demonstrate ability to develop and implement audit programmesDemonstrate ability to develop and implement targets and objectives to facilitate continuous improvement of Health and Safety, Environment, Quality and Rail Management SystemsDemonstrate knowledge of working with external authorities like SEPA, HSE, and external auditors like NQA, Achilles etc.Possess minimum a NEBOSH Certificate but ideally a diploma/degree or equal qualification in the discipline of Health and Safety.NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management.Hold a Qualification or have significant experience in Lead Auditing for all three ISO Standards: 9001, 14001 and 45001.
