Job Description

HGV/LGV MechanicAn exciting position has become available for a full-time HGV/LGV Mechanic based in Cheshire. The successful candidate will earn £18 per hour.Shift patterns are 6 am-2 pm and 2 pm-10 pm, you will work every other Saturday 6 am-12 pm which is paid at an overtime rate of 1.5 times the normal salary.What can you expect in return

  • Level 3 qualification.
  • Driving licence is essential.
  • Heavy goods vehicle licence is preferred but is not essential.
  • Competent with paperwork.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with office staff and customers.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative.
  • Provide own tools.
What will my role as a HGV/LGV Mechanic look like
  • Service, maintenance, and repairs to a range of vehicles, including petroleum and LPG.
  • Diagnosing faults and rectifying defects.
  • Support workshop team members including Apprentice Technicians as required.
