Liberty offers professional gas installation, maintenance and servicing, as well as energy solutions, electrical installations and property building and maintenance services, with a strong commitment to value for money services that make a positive difference to people and the communities in which we work.We now have an opportunity for a Floor Layer to join us to provide a comprehensive floor laying service to domestic and commercial properties.You will be responsible for full floor laying duties including; measuring, estimating and ordering quantities of floor coverings, cuts, spreading adhesive cement and latex screeding, laying out centrelines and underlays of hardboard sheets, covering materials and joining sections of sheet covering.You will be expected to prepare and complete floor laying and finished using vinyl, linoleum, rubber, sheet (including Polysafe) and or tile as hard floor finishing including carpet laying.You will also be expected to liaise with customers when arranging and carrying out work, having full regard to their needs and working from written and verbal instructions, including drawings, diagrams, sketches, calculations using measuring equipment where appropriate.Competent in all aspects of floor laying and with experience of maintenance work on domestic and commercial properties, including high rise blocks for general repairs and refurbishments, candidates must have a background of general floor laying work and be able to work in confined spaces. A current driving licence is essential.
