Job Description

Our client has a new opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their successful, growing business based in Ellesmere Port.This role is full-time, and a 12 month fixed term contract.Client DetailsOur client, based in Ellesmere Port, specialises in providing excellent & top solutions across various sectors. By implementing innovative solutions, our client enables their customers to improve their own businesses and be the best that they can possiblybe.They are now seeking a finance assistant to join their dedicated team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is wanting to gain valuable experience and progress even further in their career.DescriptionThe key responsibilities of the finance assistant will be:

  • Generating and processing invoices accurately and promptly to maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Monitoring and managing customer accounts.
  • Conducting regular reconciliation of accounts to identify discrepancies or overdue payments and taking appropriate actions to rectify them.
  • Providing administrative support by handling filing, data entry, and other clerical duties for the finance department.
  • Assisting in the preparation of credit control reports, highlighting payment statuses, outstanding debts, and potential issues for management review.
  • Running credit checks on new & existing customers.
ProfileThe successful candidate will:
  • Previous experience within a finance or credit control role.
  • Strong in EXCEL
  • Ability to collaborate well with other departments
  • Professional and friendly manner, maintaining good relationships with clients.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
