Job Description

A leading global speciality chemical manufacturing company is seeking an In-House Compliance Paralegal to join their team. The role will be based at their offices close to Wirral/ Cheshire. The offices are located close to excellent motorway links. Thisis a rare and fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to build an in-house legal career.The Role:

  • You will be reporting to the Senior Compliance Counsel. Key areas you will be working on include due diligence on global third party representatives from an anti-bribery/corruption perspective, advice regarding export controls and trade sanctions and assistingwith audits and other areas of compliance.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • You will have an excellent eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills together with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • You will be interested in working inhouse within Compliance.
  • A Commercial background would be a strong advantage however full training will be provided.
  • Strong academics.
  • A law graduate, legal executive or other experienced paralegal would be considered (Training contracts cannot be provided however alternative qualification options can be supported)
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel
Salary and Benefits:
  • Salary is in the region of 25,000 - 30,000, depending on experience.
  • Benefits include 25 days holiday, flexible working, pension, bonus and free parking.
  • Hybrid working.
