The company has an embedded safety culture, technically challenging work across the different parts of the business and some of the best training available in theenergy industry.The RoleWe currently have an exciting opportunity for an Office Based Account Manager to join the Marketing Team to develop, grow and maintain a range of prospective and existing accounts for Essar, with the primary focus on commercial end user customers. This wouldsuit someone who has recently graduated and is looking to further enhance their Development.Responsibilities will include account management for a specified portfolio of customers to deliver the sales plan on margin and volume. You will develop and maintain relationships with customers at senior level within the business and coordinate the activitiessuch as negotiating and agreeing contracts with new and existing customers to achieve overall sales targets. As an Office Based Account Manager you will provide technical and commercial understanding of the product and supply chain to create added value forthe customer. You will use management information and data with a view to deliver continuous improvement and steer business decisions. You will work with the wider Essar teams across Marketing, Trading and the refinery to provide efficient cost effective servicesto the customer that generate additional margin for our business. This role has a direct impact on our business mission to delight our existing customers and grow margin from new market share.About YouOur ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or an equivalent standard. Candidates will have demonstrable experience in sales and business development role preferably within the industry or equivalent industries. Candidates should have experienceof developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts and ability to demonstrate proficiency in selling and negotiating, understanding and analysing market related data, and focus on excellent customer service.
