Job Description

Our client specialises in providing the chillers and ambient coolers, industrial dehumidifiers, HVAC and refrigeration systems that their clients need and with over 40years of experience, they are a trusted partner of many blue chip and household names,particularly within the food and confectionery markets, consequently they are now looking to further expand the department to meet the requirements of these clients and are offering an exciting opportunity to join their enthusiastic and professional contractingteam. As a result of the growth, they are looking for a full time Warehouse manager to work as part of the after-sales team supporting the business.Key Responsibilities of a warehouse manager

  • Reporting to the After-sales manager. this is a hands-on role within a small warehouse team and the candidate will be required to fully control the physical movement and updating of the IT systems for goods in, storage, picking, despatching and the returnof goods.
  • You will also need to liaise with our service department regarding the maintenance of the rental assets and be responsible for health and safety standards around the warehouse, including hygiene and security.
  • The candidate will be responsible for the training and development of the warehouse team as it grows and for ensuring the warehouse works at maximum efficiency.
  • To ensure success, the candidate must be able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment and perform their duties in a manner that maximises efficiency and productivity. The applicant must be dedicated, competent and have strong organisationand leadership skills.
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
  • Experience within a similar role
  • A systematic and methodical approach with attention to detail
  • Inventory control, basic equipment maintenance, data entry and good computer skills.
  • Forklift truck driver
  • Good communication skills - both written & verbal
  • Ability to work within a team to meet deadlines.
