Trainee Engineer (Fitter / Assembler)£30,000 - £40,000 + BenefitsEllandAre you a Fitter or Assembler from manufacturing looking for training to become a fully qualified R&D engineer with technical progression, and a variety of work in a clearly defined career With a background in fitting or assembly, you will have the core skills required to develop and excel in this role.This new position offers you an opportunity to dive into the research and development of exciting bespoke equipment. In this role, you will be a part of a cohesive team of expert engineers completing assemblies and testing of machinery, recording resultsand liaising with Design Engineers to improve prototypes.This award-winning, innovative start-up are looking to grow their business, and develop their own products over the next 5 years, making this a fantastic time to get on board. With a creative and inventive view on specialist bespoke machinery, they are lookingto promote their designs to become a market leader in what they do. Their innovation is highly regarded within their sector and they are looking towards a bright and profitable future.This role would suit a Mechanical Fitter looking for more variety in their day-to-day work and to expand their skill set into an exciting R&D position with on-the-job training.The Role:

  • Disassembly, assembly and testing of bespoke machinery and equipment
  • On-the-job training
  • Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 4:45am, Friday finish at 12.30pm
