Job Description

Position: Aftermarket Development-Telematic Support Co-ordinator Location: HalifaxShift: DAYSHours: Monday - Friday 8.30am-5.00pm (45 mins lunch) / 38.75 hrsSalary: £24,000 - £25,000 per annumDepartment: Rental - reports into the rental supervisorOverall purpose of the job of the Telematic Support Co-ordinatorThe high level objective is to positively grow the Aftermarket business through the identification of Aftermarket Sales opportunities through the use and interrogation of the Telematic system.You will be responsible for reconciling all units delivered with telematics (both future and prior) to ensure that all non- contract (non-rental & non R&M) units are captured from a proactive Aftermarket perspective in order to maximise all Aftermarket (Parts / Service / Breakdown support) opportunities in order to develop the customer experience, retention and relationship whilst ensuring that we achieve 100% of the maximum available aftermarket opportunity after vehicle delivery and throughout the operational life cycle of the unit.Responsibilities of the Telematic Support Co-ordinator

  • Customer relationship management
  • Accurately interrogate, collate and manage telematic data to identify opportunities and proactively manage these to a successful progressive output.
  • Proactively manage the process of job identification and quotation
  • Liaising with internal departments to arranging engineer visit, replacement parts and servicing with a proactive, can do approach to positively grow the Aftermarket business.
  • Produce monthly report of the above to demonstrate progress and reconciliation of ‘Sale only’ telematics units and opportunities identified and developed through the use of the telematic information and data
  • Person Specification required for the Telematic Support Co-ordinator
  • Able to work using own initiative, drive and self-motivation to continually identify Aftermarket sales opportunities.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Able to demonstrate positive customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively both via phone and email.
  • Able to troubleshoot and put forward new ideas to improve processes within the department.
  • Good knowledge of telematic system.
