You will be supporting the increasingly important cybersecurity function and protectingthe organisation from cyber threats through using a range of different technologies and processes, as well as liaise with cyber security auditors (KPMG) to facilitate annual cyber security audits and address audit findings.We are looking for a "nuts and bolts" doer! Someone who will be hands-on in monitoring and securing systems, setting policies, rolling out patches, setting up firewalls, etc.This position will suit an already established cybersecurity expert, or someone with a strong infrastructure background who has been taking on cybersecurity responsibilities and is ready to step up even further.PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to consider candidates who are out of country or require visa sponsorship to work in the UK.What were offering:

Key responsibilities:

• Providing cyber security support for the IT/OT infrastructure
• Security analysis and risk assessment
• Helping the maintenance of cyber security plans, policies and processes, and encouraging others to stay compliant
• Assisting with internal and external cyber security audits management, and addressing and responding to findings
• Managing IDP systems, firewalls, web filtering solutions and antivirus and anti-malware services
• Helping with the coordination of yearly penetration tests
• Helping to evaluate new software and hardware for security vulnerabilities and risks
• Performing regular monitoring for intrusions/unusual activity, and investigating and responding to any anomalies
• Performing internal and perimeter firewall configuration
• Managing Azure AD/ADFS security

What youll need:

• Current and maintained awareness of the latest cybersecurity trends and technology developments
• An understanding and respect for the need of having strong governance, policy, data protection and security measures in place, and a strong sense of compliance with set security guidelines
• Demonstrable experience of hands-on cybersecurity work such as monitoring and securing systems, setting policies, rolling out patches, setting up firewalls in monitoring and securing systems, setting policies, rolling out patches, setting up firewalls,etc
• Mimecast and O365 experience
• Experience of cloud security would be highly beneficial
