Job Description

Forklift Truck DriverLocation: EllandPay: £10.18 - £11.51p/hDuration: Immediate Start, Temporary - PermanentHours of work: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5pm, Friday 8:30am - 4pmRole and Responsibilities:

  • Receive goods at the loading/receiving area.
  • Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse.
  • Loading stock onto conveyer belts
  • Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt.
  • Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or with appropriate lifting equipment.
  • Load goods onto trucks for shipping.
  • Occasional van driving to another site
  • Ability to work using controlled documents and completion of relevant data.
  • General warehouse duties such as picking/packing
  • Stamping products when required
  • Manual handling duties.
Essential skills needed for the role:
  • Reach FLT license (valid and in-date, RTITB / ITSSAR)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Good IT Skills (Excel, Outlook and Word) for data entry and inventory.
  • Must be willing to work individually or as part of a team
  • Would suit someone physically active
