Job Description

Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit aNew Product Coordinator.This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, busy team. Our client is a distributor and this role will support the team with everything associated with selling new product ranges. From liaising with suppliers to clarify quantities in boxes and on pallets,finding out exact product size, packaging information and technical specifications, through to liaising with several internal departments, to organise sample boards, marketing materials, pricing etc….They are looking to recruit a bright, motivated, candidate who is has a fantastic attention for detail.Our client is based in Elland, they’re a well-established Group of companies, specialising in the distribution of products, they typically import product into the UK and re-sell to UK customers.Responsibilities:

  • Taking responsibility for any new products the company want to introduce to customers
  • Liaising with the suppliers to obtain full specification on the product
  • Creation of new product codes and names
  • Uploading new products descriptions & photos to backend of website (training provided)
  • Updating excel spreadsheets with information which will be loaded on the sales order system.
  • Working with the marketing department to promote new products on all social media channels
  • Provide marketing with information to produce PDF’s / Brochures of any new products
  • Arranging sample boards for the sales reps and merchandisers
  • Liaising with other inhouse departments as required
Requirements:
  • Bright, motivated, friendly personality, with confidence to speak to key contacts within the business and outside the business.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including ability to populate excel spreadsheets.
  • Have a creative flair
