As a world market leader with more than 3,500 employees, we expand our structures continuouslyRole descriptionThe mission of the Credit Controller is to look after the Sales Ledger function daily. Ensure month end processes are performed timely and accurately, control debts, making sure overdue are collected within a timely manner, monitor credit limits and controlcredit risk (using Credit Safe).Your main challenges• Managing cashbook, with accurate receipt allocation• Creation of new customer accounts using inhouse accounting software• Processing customer refunds and account reconciliations• Managing customer invoicing platforms - selfbilling, consignment stock, etc• Liaising with other internal and external sales departments to ensure accuracy of customer accounts• External reporting, eg EU Sales, Intrastat• Manage debt collection using appropriate methods• Some responsibilities for South African subsidiary sales ledger• Assist with other duties within the team when required• Develop and maintain sales ledger department policies• Ad-hoc office dutiesWhat we look forYour education and experience Credit Control experience essential 3-5 years Fluent in English (both verbal and written) Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent in English and MathsWhat we offerWe offer an attractive place to work and personal development in an empowered working culture.
