Job Description

OverviewWe are excited to announce the opportunity for a Marketing Specialist (12–15 month contract) to join our Enterprise Car Club (ECC) Marketing Team at Enterprise Mobilitys European Head Office in Egham, Surrey.ECC is a subscription-based vehicle rental service whereby members use a mobile app to rent cars and vans, by the hour or day. Since launching in 2015, ECC has become the UK’s largest car club with vehicles more towns and cities than any other. Vehiclescan be booked and unlocked 24/7/and are located on-street, in car parks, at train stations and at Enterprise Rent-A-Car branches.The ECC marketing team devise strategies that engage both a B2C and B2B audience including individual users, business, universities and government organisations. These strategies span a wide integrated marketing mix including PPC, display, website, affiliate,social media, events, collateral production, email, direct mail… etc; delivering a range of mechanics and tactics at both a national & hyper geotargeted level. The aim being to drive member acquisition and vehicle utilisation, but also support key regionaland external stakeholders, and forge partnerships with other mobility providers.The Marketing Specialist, working into the Head of ECC Marketing, will lead marketing efforts coordinating a diverse range of digital and non-digital channels/media. Managing end-to-end the origination of content, email marketing campaigns, website UX, printmaterials, social advertising. In doing so managing budgets, third party suppliers/agencies, and reporting. This self-starting person will have a natural aptitude for all things digital, exceptional project management skills, analytical capabilities, integratedmarketing acumen, experience managing creative origination, and the ability to communicate effectively in writing.This position would suit someone who has both digital and brand experience already working client-side or someone looking to transition from a digital/account management agency-side role. The team has a start-up feel and is looking for someone dynamic andentrepreneurially minded to get stuck-in, be ‘can-do’ and make a tangible difference.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:

    • Manage UK & Ireland websites via CMS promoting SEO optimization, visitor conversion and content accuracy. This will involve updating content, imagery, UX, tagging etc; and adding new widgets, scoping new functionality and opening new pages.
    • Manage email marketing initiatives, and member lifecycle/booking messaging, via eCRM software – copy writing comms, laying out templates, and managing distribution lists.
    • Collate insightful monthly & adhoc reporting leveraging digital reporting channels (AEM/AA), agency reports and in-house software.
    • Lead the execution of social advertising strategies managing audience targeting and the retargeting of engaged prospects
    • Devise and deliver promotional, or brand partnership, activity that will live seamlessly across our integrated digital channels. In doing so map out touchpoints, mange creative ordination, manage digital delivery and measure effectiveness.
    • Manage third party stakeholders – digital/creative/social agency, eCRM providers, review sites etc
    • Develop a thorough understanding of the Car Club business, spearheaded by learning the intricacies of interacting with the internal operating system
    • Scope new strategies and channels we might leverage to drive the business forwards – especially in a digital space
    • Oversee the origination, print and production of event stands, collateral, rental guides and merchandise working with a creative team, third party suppliers and internal stakeholders
    • Manage the creation of new creative, artwork and copy, working with other stakeholders/agencies, acting as a brand guardian
    • Confidently leading meetings, manage stakeholder involvement/approvals, produce presentations/documentation, contribute original & innovative ideas, report on performance and manage budgets.
    • Line manage 1-2 Marketing Coordinators – developing their skillset, managing their workload and guiding their development
    • Monitor spend, budget and key timings ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and on budget
    • Shape departmental ways of working to drive the honing of team performance and integration with wider EU Marketing teams.
    • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties and special marketing projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Proven experience integrating digital marketing with wider brand strategy - Must have a solid understanding of the interplay of digital marketing channels and how these can be integrated with marketing activities off-line
  • Experienced in using;
  • Facebook Ads Manger
  • Adobe Experience Manager or another similar content management system
  • Adobe Analytics or another similar platform
  • eCRM software
  • Hootsuite or similar social aggregation platform
  • Google My Business
  • Illustrator or InDesign (preferred)
  • An impressive implementation record – showing solid capacities re making things happen when flying solo or part of a wider team
  • Proven experience with creative development and copywriting skills, including writing Creative Briefs, critiquing creative and having an eye for creative composition
  • Aptitude for leading the agenda, chairing meetings and coordinating stakeholders.
  • Strong project/time management skills – with experience managing multiple simultaneous projects delivering on-time and on-budget - strong organisational skills
  • Must be a team player with proven collaboration and leadership skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to think innovatively, seek out original solutions, learn new technical programs and make things happen
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment to make decisions toward the objective
  • Key eye for analytics/numbers, able to model ROI and extract insight blending together a range of data points
  • Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills
